Philosophy Festival in Greece® is an interdisciplinary educational program designed for high school students across Europe, organized by the Associazione Festival della Filosofia in Magna Grecia.
The Festival’s mission is to combine the cultural value of a journey to the birthplace of Western philosophy with the rediscovery of historically and archaeologically significant areas during the low season, with Greece being the foremost symbol of Mediterranean culture.
During the six days of the Philosophy Festival in Greece®, students can reach new learning milestones through innovative educational experiences, such as philosophical dialogues, philosophical-theatrical walks (perípatos), workshops, contests, and more. Activities for teachers are also included.
Each spring, in March and April, high school students from across Europe participate in the Philosophy Festival in Greece® “Philia”, held in Athens, Delphi, Messene, Epidaurus, and surrounding areas, joining in a cultural experience that offers a fresh approach to knowledge through non-formal education.
